Little Green Futbol(II): A pre-game attempt to offer a moment of silence in honor of the death of John Paul II was
thwarted by jeering fans in Edinburgh yesterday, before the start of a game between local team
"Hearts" and perennial champion
Celtic, a team with a largely Catholic following based in Glasgow. After the game, several fans were arrested for their part in the booing, on the rather cryptic charge of "sectarian aggravated breach of the peace".
